Masters City Records was founded in 2024 in Augusta, GA by Sk8.P. From day one, the label has been dedicated to serving artists, producers, and songwriters with management, studio recording, music planning, and more.

In 2025—just a year later—Masters City Records was nominated for a Metro Music Award in the Management category; a clear sign of the impact it’s making in Augusta and surrounding cities. Known for setting the bar high, Masters City has quickly built one of the most popular platforms for independent talent in the region.

Masters City Records is more than just a record label. It’s also a hub for merch—offering everything from t-shirts and jackets to bags and accessories. Sk8.P is passionate about giving artist's studio-quality sound at their fingertips, creating some of the best recording templates for rap, R&B, rock, and more.

Every First Friday, Masters City hosts a major networking and performance event for local and regional talent, bringing the community together to connect and collaborate. The label also provides music business education, teaching artists how to properly register their work through BMI, Sound Exchange, and other essential platforms.

At Masters City Records, it’s not just about recording and chasing a deal—it’s about learning how to earn while you grow. Whether you’re working toward a major label signing or building your own independent career, Masters City gives you the tools, knowledge, and opportunities to make it happen.
